Inside Sales/Marketing Representative

POSITION DESCRIPTION

EasyPower is seeking a full-time Inside sales and marketing representative that will be based at our headquarters located in Tualatin, Oregon. This position will report to the Director of Sales and will be supported by our Technical Support and Marketing teams to achieve the sales goals. The overall objective of sales position is to sell our company products and services to current and potential clients and provide support to the Outside Sales Persons.

This position will support the outside sales efforts, maintain CRM, build and implement email marketing programs and develop new leads and qualify web leads. Our software products and engineering services can help the end user and consultants to develop Power System Studies (Short Circuit and Coordination, Harmonics, Load Flow, Arc Flash and more) and achieve compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and trade shows
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
  • Coordinate with other team members to accomplish the work required to close sales
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Over 2 years of work experience as an Inside or sales representative of Electrical Power System products services or software. Must have a basic understanding of electrical power.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Must be goal-oriented, highly responsible and self-motivated
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office software
  • Must be able to communicate proficiently in English
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • BSEE – Electrical Engineering
  • Prior experience working in an electrical field
  • Prior experience working with Electrical Power Systems
  • Experience working at a utility company or industrial company with substations
  • Valid driver license
